Three elements of the most popular graphic design

Application of elements of common techniques in graphic design (III)

(x) texture

texture is also called texture. Due to different materials of objects, the arrangement, organization and structure of surfaces are different, resulting in a rough, smooth, soft and hard feeling

creation method of texture:

1 Pen "three innovations": refers to the changes in product innovation, technological innovation and innovation touch in the field of utilization: using the thick, thin, hard, soft, heavy strokes and the different arrangement of strokes, "And depict different texture effects.

2. Rubbing: engrave with ink or paint and naturally formed uneven surfaces, and then print on the drawing surface, it will form ancient rubbing texture.

3. Spray painting: brush down the dissolved pigment with a spray pen or with a metal and toothbrush, and then spray the pigment on the paper in the form of fog.

4. Dyeing: the surface with strong water absorption can be rendered, infected and stained with liquid pigments It spreads naturally on the surface, producing a natural and beautiful texture effect

5. Paper: various kinds of paper, due to different processing materials, are different in thickness, texture and structure, or artificially wrinkled and rubbed to produce special texture effects

(XI) space

kefel provides a complete platform for the production of excellent bottled products. Generally speaking, space refers to two-dimensional space. The expression methods of spatial sense are as follows:

1 Use size to express the sense of space: things of the same size have a sense of size due to different distances, which are large near and small far away. On the plane, we feel close if the area is large, and far if the area is small

2. Using overlapping performance: when one shape is superimposed on another shape on the plane, there will be a sense of front, back, up and down, resulting in a sense of space

3. Use shadow expression: the distinction of shadow will make the object have three-dimensional feeling and concave convex feeling of the object

4. The use of interval density performance: the density change of small images or lines can produce a sense of space. In reality, such as a curtain with dot pattern, the pattern at its rolling place will become dense, and the smaller the interval, the closer the feeling, the farther away

5. Use the direction change of parallel lines to express: changing the direction of arranging parallel lines will produce the illusion of three dimensions

6. Color changes to show: use the cold and warm changes of color, cold color away, warm color close

7. Performance of texture changes: rough surface makes people feel close, while fine surface makes them feel far away

8. Contradiction space: the so-called contradiction space refers to what cannot exist in the real space, and only exists in the hypothetical space

graphic design is to combine different basic graphics into patterns on the plane according to certain rules. It mainly divides the boundary between the map and the ground with contour lines within the scope of two-dimensional space to depict the image. The sense of three-dimensional space expressed by graphic design is not a real three-dimensional space, but only an illusion space formed by the visual guidance of graphics

(XII) figure and bottom

there is a relationship between figure and bottom. In nature, blue sky and white clouds, red flowers and green leaves all reflect the relationship between contrast and foil. In graphic design, the relationship between figure and bottom is inseparable, sometimes reversed

application of figure and bottom in design:

1 It has a graphic feeling with high color brightness

2. The convex image in the concave convex change has a positive image sense

3. In the comparison of area size, small ones have a sense of map

4. The shape surrounded in space has a graphic sense

5. In static and dynamic, dynamic has a sense of map

6. Between the abstract and the concrete, the concrete has a graphic sense

7. In geometric patterns, the bottom of the figure can be determined according to the contrast relationship. The greater the contrast, the easier it is to distinguish the figure from the bottom

inversion of graph and bottom: sometimes the characteristics of graph and bottom are very similar, which is not easy to distinguish. This is the inversion of graph bottom

(XIII) scatter

scatter is a composition method of decomposition and combination, which is to divide a complete thing into various parts, and then recombine it according to certain composition principles. This method is conducive to grasping the internal structure and characteristics of things, observing and understanding things from different angles, extracting abstract components from a concrete form, and then forming a new form with these abstract components to produce a new aesthetic feeling

(XIV) rhythm

the expression of rhythm is one of the constituent methods of expressing dynamics. When the same element appears periodically, it will form a sense of movement, which is a kind of psychological activity of people. The expression of rhythm is that the picture is full of vitality. How did it come into being

1. The rhythmic expression of one dimension: the basic form is repeated in a single direction up, down, left and right, which is called the rhythmic expression of one dimension. At this time, if the intervals of the basic forms are the same, the rhythmic changes will be less. If the basic forms have different prices, it will produce a complex sense of rhythm

2. The rhythmic expression of the two-dimensional element: like the board of go, it is called the two-dimensional rhythmic element repeatedly in the up, down, left and right directions. The basic form can be equally spaced or have certain changes

3. Using gradients to express rhythm: rhythm is generated according to the rule changes of mathematical rationality, and the changes of mathematical ratio are regular, which can cause gradients to produce a sense of rhythm

(XV) segmentation

in plane composition, the whole is divided into parts, which is called segmentation. This phenomenon can be seen at any time in daily life, such as the ceiling and floor of the house. Here are several commonly used segmentation methods:

1 Isomorphic segmentation: the shape is required to be exactly the same, and then choose the dividing line after segmentation, which will have a good effect

2. Free segmentation: free segmentation is irregular. The method of free segmentation of the picture is different from the neat effect produced by mathematical rule segmentation, but its random segmentation gives people a lively and unrestrained feeling Proportion and sequence: the composition completed by proportion usually has the characteristics of order and clarity, giving people a fresh feeling. Separation gives certain rules, such as golden section, number series, etc

(XVI) balance

when modeling, the feeling of balance is very important. Due to the visual satisfaction caused by balance, people's eyes can produce a sense of balance and stability when observing objects

balance is mainly divided into:

1 Symmetrical balance: such as people, butterflies, some symmetrical shapes with the central axis as the center

2. Asymmetrical balance: Although there is no central axis, it is not symmetrical, but it has a very correct sense of balance

(XVII) various arrangements of the basic form

the basic form is the most basic unit element in the composition. In the process of clustering the unit elements, countless combinations may change. In order to make the 11 year development time of the composition not messy, the basic form is better to have a simple geometric form

arrangement principle of basic forms:

1 The arrangement of basic thread packing: the arrangement develops horizontally and becomes the current figure, which has a strong directionality. It can develop horizontally or diagonally

2. Planar arrangement: the basic shape is arranged in the secondary direction to form a planar pattern

3. Circular arrangement: develop the basic linear arrangement into a curve, so that both ends are connected

4. Radial arrangement: the basic shape is arranged outward from the center, resulting in a radial pattern

5. Symmetrical arrangement: the basic shape is arranged symmetrically left and right, and the arrangement is regular and neat
